Casey's Pro Tips

The short game, from 60 yards and in, makes up 70% of the game of golf, so why don't people practice it more?  If, as a non professional, you want to improve the most, practice your short game.  To be more consistent in chipping the ball, try to use a club that gets the ball over the fringe and runs like a putt.  I look at the amount of green I have to work with, then choose the club that gets the ball over the fringe and then it rolls out like a putt. It is much easier than taking a sand wedge with a big swing and trying to throw it all the way to the hole.  So next time you play, try this method and I know you will be more consistent in your chipping.
